Agency life primed me for entrepreneurial life, handing me the opportunities for professional and personal development that would inspire me to dream bigger: I dreamt of Gemini.
Then, I landed my dream job: A copywriter for a design agency, collaborating on over 200 brands and writing over 150 websites from Tanzania to the Caribbean.
To master marketing, I went back to school for graphic design. I landed an internship at a national magazine before joining a start-up as the in-house designer.
After graduating with a major in business and a minor in writing, I started my first side hustle, a jewelry studio, and soon learned I liked marketing jewelry more than making it.
I was dancing in the pre-professional division of the School of Alberta Ballet when injury struck. The backup plan: Study creative writing and become editor of Vogue. As you do.
A tutu from the dress-up bin inspired the beginnings of a lifelong love affair with ballet and an affinity for the arts. Dreams of the corps de ballet consumed me for 15 years.
I forgo the "pros" in favour of asking my tarot deck what to do and favour feminine intuition to masculine exertion. If you're a woo woman who lives by a less-is-more mindset, too, I think we'll like working together.
I may style myself after Audrey Hepburn and invest in one too many classic coats, but I'm only human. At the heart of my work are the same values I bring to my life: Minimalism, style and substance. My aesthetic is simple but meaningful, while my copy is clever and articulate.
A MINIMALIST with AN UNHEALTHY COLLECTION OF CLASSIC COATS and PINK LIPSTICKS
If you're anything like me, you value style and substance. You feel good when you look good, but looks are just the wrapping paper—and you're the whole package. Beauty and brains. Style and substance. And you want to curate a voice and visuals that are as meaningful as they are beautiful.

I’ve been movie-marathoning like a gold-medal runner since before Netflix made it easy. (Try Anne of Green Gables on VHS—all six tapes of it.)
Schitt’s Creek is my favourite TV series of all time. I can't watch David crouching with a pitchfork on an Amish farm and not cry laughing.
I never say no to true crime or tacos. Your new favourite true crime read: Michelle McNamara's I'll Be Gone in the Dark. It's a literary masterpiece.
80s ballads are my anthem. I may or may not have split my pants at my best friend's stagette while dancing to "Jessie’s Girl".
My secret talent: Parallel parking. Courtesy of inheriting my family's 1995 Plymouth Voyager van at 22 and street-parking it for three years after.
Empowering women to do the thing is my jam—but the future won't be female if we don't take care of Mother Earth. I donate my time and one percent of my profits to the causes I feel will make a difference in the lives of women and the future of our planet.
Just like Romeo and Juliet, writing and design were made for each other—were we? Email me to start the conversation.
